I went to Zanzibar for the first time in 2023. It was amazing to say the least! I discovered a world different from the one I knew. A world not chasing capital gains. A culture that does not revolve around a 9-5 work day.
In my years as an architect and entrepreneur, spending a full day on the beach was never an option. I used to bring a laptop at the beach to keep up with things at the office. In Zanzibar I discovered a culture that lives in Paradise. A place that shows the abundance you truly have. And a place that lets you enjoy life.
The people use the philosophy of HAKUNA MATATA – which literally translates to “No Worries.” This is why we decided to create AZURE – a resort where you can experience the true happiness and freedom of life. With NO worries period!

Why Africa?
Africa is an absolutely beautiful place on Earth, where nature thrives and human intervention is symbiotic with the environment. There is an enormous potential to reconnect humanity with
nature, while creating consistent ROI.
Sustainable design
We use local materials and workforce, designing timeless projects with the environment in mind. The copious amounts of sunlight give us the opportunity to use solar energy to power our projects, in alignment with the SDG.
Hakuna matata
In the Western World we have lost connection with who we are, driven by profits and the chase of returns. We have a chance to live worries free, under the palm tree.
